Historic Milestone: Nimrod, Olopade Applaud Nigeria’s Beach Volleyball Qualification for 2028 Los Angeles Olympics

In an unprecedented triumph for Nigerian sports, the national beach volleyball team has officially booked its place at the upcoming Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. The remarkable achievement marks the first time the country will be represented in the prestigious event at the quadrennial games, sparking widespread celebration across the nation’s athletic ecosystem.

Prominent sports administrators, including the President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod, alongside seasoned sports administrator Bukola Olopade, have lauded the historic feat. Nimrod described the qualification as the culmination of years of grassroots investment, discipline, and sheer determination from both the athletes and coaching staff who defied logistical odds to secure the continental ticket.
