Ekiti Secures $500m Investment Pledges as State Woos Egyptian Business Tycoons in Cairo
The Ekiti State Government has announced potential trade and industrial commitments valued at $500 million following a strategic five-day investment mission to Cairo, Egypt. Over 40 high-profile Egyptian investors engaged state officials to explore opportunities in commercial agriculture, seed production, and agro-processing. If realized, the initiatives are expected to boost sub-national economic development and position Ekiti as a premier investment hub in South-West Nigeria.
