Police Rescue Three Abducted Victims, Recover Arms After Enugu Carjacking Raid

In a decisive anti-kidnapping operation, operatives of the Enugu State Police Command have successfully rescued three abducted victims following a rapid response to a distress call. The security breakthrough, which unfolded after a reported carjacking and subsequent abduction, underscores the ongoing tactical repositioning of the state's security apparatus against violent crime networks.

According to an official statement released on Tuesday by the Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, the operational success was recorded after police officers intercepted the suspected criminal elements. The swift intervention of the tactical team allegedly disarranged the criminals' getaway plans, forcing them to abandon their captives and flee into the nearby forest under the cover of darkness.
