Tragedy in Ilorin as Two-Storey Building Collapses, Trapping Nursing Mothers and Children

The quiet dawn of Tuesday in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, was shattered by the catastrophic collapse of a residential two-storey building, leaving no fewer than eight occupants feared trapped beneath the heavy concrete rubble. The incident, which reportedly occurred at approximately 5:30 am in the densely populated PopoGiwa, Madalasi Zhogoro area, off Sijikobi Road in Ilorin West Local Government Area, threw the entire neighborhood into immediate panic as residents woke up to the deafening sound of crumbling masonry.
