In a decisive effort to mend internal fractures following a fiercely contested primary exercise, the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo State, Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, has extended a broad olive branch to fellow aspirants and disgruntled party members. Addressing supporters and newsmen in Ibadan, Adegoke characterized the recent internal contest as a necessary exercise in democratic engagement rather than a battle of political enemies.

Adegoke emphasized that the ultimate goal of the ADC remains delivering responsive governance and economic emancipation to the citizens of Oyo State—an objective that requires complete intra-party harmony. According to reports from the venue, the flagbearer personally reached out to prominent rival camps, giving reassurances that his leadership would prioritize inclusivity and collective decision-making across all local government areas.
