Job Frenzy as CDCFIB Shortlists NSCDC, Immigration Candidates for Physical Screening

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially commenced the next phase of its highly anticipated recruitment exercise, shortlisting successful candidates for the mandatory physical screening process. This critical development, which targets applicants for both the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), marks a significant step forward in the federal government’s efforts to bolster its domestic security and border management apparatus.

According to official directives released by the board's management, candidates who participated in the previous computer-based aptitude tests are urged to immediately verify their status on the official CDCFIB recruitment portal. Shortlisted individuals will be required to present themselves at designated centers across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for physical verification, credential authentication, and fitness assessments.

The board emphasized that the screening exercise will be conducted under strict compliance with administrative protocols to ensure transparency and meritocracy. Applicants are expected to produce original copies of their educational certificates, state of origin identifications, birth certificates, and the printouts of their online application slips. Any discrepancies in the documents presented, the board warned, will lead to automatic disqualification at the screening gates.
