Addressing his supporters in Lafia, Adamu unveiled a multi-sectoral blueprint designed to revive Nasarawa’s agrarian economy and fix its broken infrastructure. He criticized the current administration's neglect of rural networks, promising that his government would prioritize rural-urban integration. “We’ve gone round the state, we have seen all the roads in the hinterlands are neglected,” Adamu remarked, pledging to revitalize the transport networks that connect agrarian communities to urban markets.

A central pillar of the former IGP's platform is the radical overhaul of Nasarawa's lucrative but troubled mining sector. The state, widely recognized for its vast solid mineral deposits, has long struggled with illegal mining activities, which have frequently fueled local banditry and communal instability. Adamu vowed to review existing frameworks governing resource exploitation to ensure the local population benefits directly from their natural wealth.

“On mineral resources, the way it is being handled now, the way it is being exploited, is not to the benefit of the people of the state. We are going to look into the way it has been handled, and make sure that the benefit comes to the people.”

In addition to resource governance, the candidate emphasized a comprehensive healthcare intervention. He argued that quality medical care should not be a luxury reserved for urban centers. Under his proposed administration, the SDP plans to roll out fully equipped primary healthcare centers across all wards, bridging the gap that has historically left rural dwellers vulnerable to preventable medical crises.

The SDP flagbearer also promised a highly disciplined, issue-based campaign across the state. Rejecting mudslinging and political violence, Adamu indicated that the party would deploy a ward-by-ward campaign strategy to present specific, localized solutions to the unique problems of each local government area.
