South-West Security: Sunday Igboho Mobilizes 'Iru Ekun' Network, Vows No Retreat Against Killer Herders, Bandits

Prominent Yoruba nation self-determination activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, widely known as Sunday Igboho, has officially signaled his return to the frontlines of regional security preservation. Following a lengthy period of self-imposed exile, legal battles in the neighbouring Benin Republic, and a quiet reintegration into the Nigerian socio-political space, Adeyemo has declared an uncompromising onslaught against criminal elements, kidnappers, and killer herdsmen terrorizing the agrarian belts of the South-West region.

At the heart of this renewed campaign is the establishment of the Iru Ekun Security Network—a localized security initiative named after the proverbial leopard's tail, symbolizing a defensive force that must not be provoked. According to reports, the network is designed to comb the vast, dense forests of Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, and Osun states, which have allegedly become operational bases for transnational syndicates specializing in kidnapping-for-ransom and agrarian displacement.

Speaking on the motivations behind the mobilization, Adeyemo emphasized that the continuous victimization of local farmers has pushed the region to an economic and social tipping point.
