Oke-Ogun Elders Submit Comprehensive 10-Year Development Masterplan to Oyo Government

In a decisive move to accelerate socioeconomic development across northern Oyo State, prominent community leaders and elders under the aegis of the Oke-Ogun Council have formally presented an ambitious 10-year strategic development blueprint to the Oyo State Government.

The comprehensive policy document outlines key intervention areas aimed at addressing systemic infrastructure deficits, fostering agro-allied industrialisation, and improving the standard of living for millions of residents within the ten local government areas comprising the Oke-Ogun geopolitical zone.

Presenting the proposal, delegates emphasised that the region holds the potential to serve as the undisputed agrarian and renewable energy powerhouse of Oyo State, provided targeted investments and structural frameworks are systematically deployed over the coming decade.
