Fintiri Approves ₦5.04bn Capital Injection to Fortify Adamawa’s Security, Agriculture, and Education

At the core of the state's survival strategy is the allocation of ₦381.7 million to engage a specialized consulting firm for pre- and post-construction services for a state-of-the-art counter-terrorism base in Madagali. Strategically located near the infamous Sambisa Forest and bordering Borno State, Madagali has historically borne the brunt of insurgent incursions. This tactical security outpost represents a permanent hardening of the state's defensive architecture.

Addressing recent reports of isolated killings and security breaches in parts of the state, Commissioner Leneke reiterated that the restoration of peace remains the crown jewel of Governor Fintiri's administration. "Our people must be able to sleep with both eyes closed," Leneke stated, emphasizing that security is a co-produced asset. The administration is urging citizens to remain highly vigilant, report suspicious movements, and cooperate fully with formal security networks to sustain the hard-won peace.
